Hey, BeYouties!
Do you ever catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror as you walk by and take a moment to admire the reflection staring back at you? I do. I do it often because it serves as a gentle reminder that the person I see is a reflection of many things, one of which is God's love for me.
But what about when you pass by others and feel their eyes on you, watching or perhaps even staring? Have you ever wondered what they see? Why are they staring? And in those moments, do you question if God sees you too?
While facing hardships, battles, resistance, and even depression, it's natural to wonder, "Does God see me?" Well, let me tell you, He does! He is El Roi, the God who sees. So rest assured, you are not alone.
Remember the story of Hagar (Genesis 16). She was an Egyptian servant who worked for a barren woman named Sarah (Sarai). Sarai decided to ask her husband Abram to conceive a child with Hagar because she was barren. Once Hagar conceived a child Sarai mistreated Hagar which resulted in her running into the desert. While there God saw her, heard her, and felt her pain. Even in her lowest moments. As she heard the Lord call her name she said “You are the God who sees me” Thereafter she says also, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?” (Genesis 16:13)
Remember, always, that no matter who may overlook us or not, even when we ourselves feel invisible, our Father in heaven sees us! He is El Roi. So find peace in knowing that He is always aware of our struggles.
Today, I am reassured that God is watching over me. Even on the days when self-doubt creeps in, when fear takes hold, and the urge to flee arises. Regardless of others' opinions or actions, He sees me. He sees you too! Keep this truth close to your heart, GOD SEES ME! Repeat it to yourself often.
I pray that in knowing that the God who sees you, El Roi, encourages you today!
I Love you so much,🌸💕
